Supersonic I284 38mm Minimum Diameter Rocket

Using Onshape and OpenRocket, I designed and built a 38 mm minimum-diameter rocket focused on reaching the highest altitude possible. On both of its flights, it reached over 5,000 feet on an I284. During these flights, it accelerated to nearly 60 G’s, and went supersonic. As seen in the launch video below, the flight was fast and stable, disappearing from view almost instantly after launch. This project also taught me the importance of reliable GPS tracking, which I include in all of my rockets now.
